Krista Hoffman

Krista Hoffman, RVT is the Lead Ultrasound Technologist for the Connecticut region at The Vascular Care Group. With over five years of experience in vascular ultrasound, Krista has established herself as a dedicated and compassionate clinician. She is recognized as the first ultrasound professional within the practice to successfully learn and perform soft tissue duplex studies on patients with vascular malformations—a complex and evolving area in vascular care.

Krista learned advanced soft tissue duplex ultrasound directly under the direction of Dr. Naiem Nassiri and is currently training in a pioneering method for ultrasonically calculating flow across high-flow arteriovenous malformations (AVMs). She is also actively involved in training vascular technologists across greater New England, helping to elevate standards in AVM imaging and education throughout the region.

Krista’s favorite part of her work is being able to help people and improve lives through diagnostic imaging, often saying, “Ultrasounds are windows into the body.” Her skill set, empathy, and patient-centered approach make her an invaluable member of the care team.
