Melissa Johnson is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with over one decade of experience in diagnostic and endovascular surgery.  As the Lead Endovascular and Interventional Radiology Technologist at TVCG CARES, Melissa brings a wealth of technical expertise, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to patient care.

Throughout her career, Melissa has been known not only for her clinical proficiency—scrubbing in for complex vascular & endovascular procedures—but also for her exceptional ability to make patients feel safe, supported, and truly cared for. Her kind and empathetic nature shines through in every interaction, creating a calming and professional environment for both patients and colleagues.

Melissa is particularly passionate about the TVCG CARES, a mission-driven international center that is defining and setting the bar for the cutting edge of clinical and technical innovation in treatment of complex vascular anomalies. As Dr. Nassiri’s main right hand during procedures, she wholeheartedly believes in its vision of compassionate, accessible, and respectful healthcare for all, and she actively contributes to its success every day. Her dedication to TVCG CARES goes beyond her technical responsibilities—she is a mentor to her peers and trainees and leads with heart and integrity, and example.

With extensive experience in both hospital and outpatient vascular settings, Melissa has been a trusted leader in managing imaging teams, training technologists, and ensuring high-quality procedural support. She is well-versed in advanced vascular technologies and maintains high standards for safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
